  • Thursday, September 24, 9 AM – Philippines vs. Hongkong
  • Friday, September 25, 4:45 PM – Philippines vs. Kuwait
UPDATE: The Samahang ng Basketbol Pilipinas (SBP), Philippine's governing body for basketball has officially announced their 24-man lineup of 2015 Gilas Pilipinas 3.0 for the FIBA Asia Championship happening on September 23 to October 3 in Changsha, China.

The Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) has announced on their official Twitter account on August 3 the list of professional basketball players followed by the request of Philippine national coach Tad Baldwin to represent at the 2015 FIBA Asia Championship and other international basketball tournament. The roster is composed of some old, new and familiar faces from the league as well as the ones that competed at the 2014 FIBA World Cup.

The cagers in the Philippine National Basketball squad include Andray Blatche, Jimmy Alapag, Gabe Norwood, Marc Pingris, Gary David, Ranidel De Ocampo, June Mar Fajardo, Paul Lee and LA Tenorio.

Other names on the pool are Filipino-Tongan Moala Tautuaa, Troy Rosario, Matt Ganuelas-Rosser, Dondon Hontiveros, Sonny Thoss, Calvin Abueva, JC Intal, Aldrech Ramos, Marc Pingris, Asi Taulava, Terrence Romeo and Marcio Lassiter.

Official 24-man Philippine basketball team lineup submitted by SBP exec director Sonny Barrios to FIBA Asia last Aug. 20, only players from this lineup may be picked for the final 12-man roster to be submitted by Sept. 8 for the FIBA Asia Championships in Changsha on Sept. 23-Oct. 3 ... the players in the "just-in-case" 24-man list are Andray Blatche, Jimmy Alapag, Gabe Norwood, Sonny Thoss, Calvin Abueva, J. C. Naturalized center Andray Blatche has finally join the new Gilas Pilipinas squad. Few other non-PBA prospects will reinforce the Philippine national team in the upcoming tourney, which are very important for our bid to qualify to the 2016 Olympics men's basketball competition.
