37th William Jones Cup 2015 tips off August 29th

The William Jones Cup 2015 is just around the corner avid hoops fans! This year William Jones Cup, the 37th edition of the a top-level international basketball tournament in honor of then FIBA comissioner William T. Jones. It is sanctioned by the FIBA Asia and will stage at the Xinzhuang Stadium, New Taipei City, Taiwan from August 29th to September 6th.

10 competing teams will join in the 2015 Jones Cup coming from different national teams in the world. The format is a single-round robin with the Chinese-Taipei as the reigning 2014 Jones Cup champion. In this year, the Chinese Taipei has two teams, A and B.

Get ready basketball fans for another exciting invitation competition that will surely be a great venue for each national basketball squads most specially for the Asian teams. This will be a test for their FIBA Asia Championship bid this September.
