Paul Lee scored 25 points, including 17 in a hot-shooting third quarter, to lead Magnolia to a 111-89 win over TNT in the PBA Commissioner's Cup at Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City on Wednesday.
The victory upped Magnolia's record to 4-4, halting a 3-game losing streak.
TNT dropped to 6-2 and solo third place in the standings.
Trailing by 5 at halftime, Magnolia erupted for 36 points in the third quarter behind Lee's long-distance shooting to go up 79-73 heading into the fourth.
That's when Magnolia poured it on, outscoring TNT 32-16 to run away with the win.
Justin Jackson contributed 18 points, 19 rebounds and 7 assists, anchoring Magnolia's defense as Lee got things going on offense.
Terrence Romeo led TNT with 17 points and 7 assists, as his star teammates struggled.
Jayson Castro finished with just 9 points, FIBA 3x3 World Cup veteran Troy Rosario with 5, and Justin Smith 12 points on 6 shots.
