WATCH Gilas Pilipinas FIBA-Asia Cup 2017 Lebanon Live Streaming

Gilas Pilipinas is all set for the 2017 FIBA-Asia Cup in Lebanon.

National team head coach Chot Reyes on Tuesday revealed the 12 players that will compete for the Asian championship next month.

Leading the official line is the reigning two-time best point guard in Asia Jayson Castro.

Joining the Blur is reigning three-time PBA Most Valuable Player June Mar Fajardo as well as scoring champion Terrence Romeo.

Calvin Abueva is also in the lineup while Gilas regulars in Japeth Aguilar, Raymond Almazan, and the returning Gabe Norwood likewise made the cut.

PBA rookies and Gilas cadets Jio Jalalon, RR Pogoy, Matthew Wright, and Carl Bryan Cruz will represent the Philippines in the FIBA-Asia Cup, which will run on August 8-20 in Beirut.

Naturalized big man Andray Blatche is noticeably out of the lineup. Although FIBA World Cup veteran Gabe Norwood was called for another tour of duty.

The FIBA Asia Cup, which will run from August 8 to 20 in Beirut, will pit the Philippines against Asian powerhouse China, Qatar and the unranked Iraq.
