The Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) is gearing for a classic and must-watch PBA Philippine Cup Finals!

After the gruesome and hard-fought best-of-seven semifinal series, Barangay Ginebra and the San Miguel Beermen are all set to clash for another best-of-seven hard-court actions for the Jun Bernardino Trophy.

The two sister franchise teams in the Philippine basketball shared great history as Ginebra won its last Philippine Cup at San Miguel's expense in 2007.

Mark Caguioa and JayJay Helterbrand anchored the Gin Kings overturning a 2-0 deficit before winning four straight to claim the trophy.

Beermen lineup includes reigning MVP JuneMar Fajardo with Marcio Lassiter, Chris Ross, Arwind Santos, and Alex Cabagnot, suprisingly that many are expecting San Miguel to overwhelm.

San Miguel is the heavy favorite to win this series although the Gin Kings has gained confidence after winning last year's Commissioner Conference.

Ginebra roster include Ginebra guard LA Tenorio, Scottie Thompson, Sol Mercado,    Kevin Ferrer and Japeth Aguilar.

Philippine Cup Finals Game 1 between Barangay Ginebra and the San Miguel Beermen is set to begin on Friday evening at the Mall of Asia Arena.
