Charismatic guard Scottie Thompson and four-time PBA MVP June Mar Fajardo emerged as the top players in the first 2018 PBA All-Star voting returns.

The third-year Ginebra guard from Digos, Davao del Sur amassed league-leading 17,851 votes from 17,573 online votes and 278 in-venue ballots to lead the Mindanao All-Stars.

The Cebuano giant, meanwhile, showed the way for the Visayas All-Stars with his 17,498 votes built from 17,250 online and 248 venue ballots.

Also among the top candidates are Magnolia playmaker Mark Barroca, who had 17,377 votes to place second in Mindanao, and Rain or Shine sniper James Yap, who got 17,006 votes to wind up second in Visayas.
